snug has been a freelance
graffiti artist and illustrator for 20 years. As an accomplished
muralist, he painted the 40 foot centennial history
of Moorfields Eye Hospital opened by the Queen in 1999.
In the summer
of 2004 snug was the lead artist on the UK's largest
mural, a community project outside Kilburn underground station.
He
has
also exhibited at Elms Lesters painting rooms with several international
graffiti artists, including Futura, Stash, Delta and Stet.
He was commissioned by Hugo Boss in their 'Orange' store
in Carnaby Street and their head offices in North London as well
as undertaking corporate paintings for Absolute Vodka and Makers
Mark whiskey. He has also painted for demonstration at private
parties and festivals including several appearances at Glastonbury.
He appeared on the front cover of the 34th edition of Graphotism
which includes a number of his more well known works.
snug is currently working on two major commissions;
one for the 'Evil from the Needle' tattoo studio in Camden, and
also an istalation
for 'Rise Recruitment' in the Islington Business Design Centre
in North London. He continues to work from his studio in South
West London.
